There are better tools for screenshots on windows then Printscreen, and using something as expensive as Photoshop or something as lame as MSpaint that has problems with saving files as .jpg

Irfranview is a great photo management tool, it is free of charge, addware, spyware, viruses, trial periods or any nonsense like that.

Another tool for Photo editing is The Gimp

It is the free open source image editor, with a lot of neat tools and great file compression its a great alternative to MS paint and again its free of charge, addware, spyware, viruses, trial periods... etc

I wont ever suggest software that is bad for your computers, I mainly suggest software I trust.
I currently use Linux but I know my stuff
