Righty-o! Well Kritter and I hiked it to the AV-Con yesterday (it's running today too but eh, one day is enough). It's the Adelaide Anime and Video Game Convention! Been pretty much every year since it started, it's very cool and nerdy =}
Didn't buy anything though, I should have but I forgot getting in was so expensive XD Had tons of toys and stuff there, t-shirts and manga and videogames!! We had our first play of Rock Band too, it's not a bad game. I did great on guitar but then when no one was brave enough I did vocals and FAILEDDDDD. My voice is quiet when I sing *nervous* so I think thats what failed me. Even so, I was still tempted to get up on the rock stage and try again =}
One of the best bits was the Video-game room with tons of tournaments going on at once. Kritter and I entered in the Smash Bros Brawl competition against about 100 people XD It was great, we both lost in the first round but, was so fun to beat up other people!! I got a high-five from a random guy for choosing Yoshi...
There were a few artist tables too, with some local anime artists selling their stuff! I'd LOVE to have one next year, but not sure I'd go to well ={ That said I think it might be fun to give it a try, then maybe Gen will be sitting at a table ^^
That aside, it was a fun-filled day with cosplay, nerds, smelly armpits and University food! Best costume of the day would definitely have to be Solid Snake! Aka, a guy in a TV box.
Next year I'm going to make a cosplay thing if I have time =}
Did anyone else go? Any regulars? Who in Adelaide dressed up? DID YOU SEE ME???

The time has come for Gen to move on. I've been working on setting up a new gallery for non-sonic art, because I will no longer be focusing my attention on... well, sonic art.
So, I suppose this is a small good-bye! I don't want it to be a bitter parting but I'm just pretty well fed up with this account and how bothersome it is to me. I'll be able to log in and keep an eye for spam or "THIS PERSON STOLE YOUR ART" type stuff, but past that I can't guarantee I'll be around.
